Clint Brown Elected Equity Shareholder
Clint joined RMWBH in 2012 and has been leading the
Austin division of our Property Owners Association team for the last several
years. In his new role as Equity Shareholder, Clint will work alongside
Founding Shareholder Marc Markel in leading the firm’s
Property Owners Association section.
Clint is an active leader of
the Austin Chapter of Community Associations Institute, currently
serving as President-Elect of the Chapter. Clint hosts legal seminars
and webinars several times throughout the year to community association
leaders, managers and members of the Texas Bar.
RMWBH continues to be proud
of the leadership and guidance Clint provides both within the firm,
with the State Bar of Texas and in the Property Owners Association
community.
Clint has become a strong
voice within our firm over the last several years, and we look forward
to hearing his guiding voice in the years to come.

Leah Burton Named President-Elect of CAI San Antonio
Congratulations to Shareholder Leah K. Burton on being
named President-Elect of the San Antonio Chapter of Community
Associations Institute. Leah will assume the role of President of the
chapter in January 2021.

Sipra Boyd Elected to State Bar of Texas Real
Estate Probate and Trust Section Council.
Congratulations to Shareholder Sipra Boyd on her
election to the State Bar of Texas Real Estate Probate and Trust
Section Council (REPTL). In her role on the council, Sipra will work
with the other council members to support the over 9,200 REPTL members
and other attorneys practicing real estate, probate or trust law in
Texas. During the upcoming Legislative session, REPTL will be active
submitting State Bar approved legislation that benefits the REPTL
practice areas around the state.

This coming August marks 3 years since Hurricane Harvey
devastated Texas. Damage from Hurricane Harvey is estimated at $128.8
billion dollars, and over 30,000 people were displaced, and 200,000
homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed1. For the
Houston area in particular, in the past five years we have seen
numerous devastating storms in addition to Harvey, including Tropical
Storm Imelda last year, the Tax Day Flood in 2016, and the Memorial Day
Flood in 2015.
