A Week of Teambuilding Brings RMWBH Together to Better Serve You

Halloween week 2019 has been a fun and full week of team building for the staff and attorneys at RMWBH.

The week began on Sunday with over 20 members of our staff participating in the Houston Half Marathon. Runners had the choice of competing in a 10k or a half marathon. Team members had spent many early mornings and weekends over the past few months training together and encouraging each other to compete and finish the race.

The week shifted to a baseball theme on Tuesday and Wednesday with our employees coming together as a team to support the Astros by sporting Astros gear, as they had done throughout their playoff run. The staff even took part in a fun spirit competition with Collections Paralegal Josett Musachia being awarded as the team member with the most Astros spirit.

Ghouls and goblins took over the office throughout part of the week with three special events to celebrate Halloween. On Wednesday, the team was able to enjoy a special Halloween themed lunch from Luby’s featuring a great presentation including Angus, which you can see in the slide show above.

Halloween saw the office come together for a costume contest that featured Mr. Clean, the Energizer Bunny, Steve Jobs, pigs in a blanket, Eric Tonsul dressing as our very own Jeff Roberts and much more. Litigation Paralegal Maggie Cazares won our contest as the Energizer Bunny.

The big event to cap off the week was our pumpkin design contest, which was apart of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Employees came together to design pumpkins and raise money for the American Cancer Society. The team of Sonia Duplechain, Ebone Nero, Priscilla Santiago and Christine Silva created the winning pumpkin with a special Orbit design. Overall, employees were able to raise $427 in just two days for the American Cancer Society, which RMWBH is proud to match dollar for dollar and donate $854 to the American Cancer Society.

The past week of events has seen many members of the RMWBH team come together and bond and work cooperatively in different ways. We believe this cooperation and teamwork translates to what we do in our legal work allowing us to work better as a team and provide greater service for you — our client!
