2020 has seen unprecedented upheaval around the United States. From a global pandemic, to nationwide protests and unforeseen natural disasters, these events have created many unknowns for homeowners around the country, and in many cases, are causing people to spend more time at home. As a result, homeowners are more vigilant of the daily movements on their streets and in their neighborhoods. But, as many of us begin to return to more of our pre-COVID lives, the homeowners may want to maintain that same sort of vigilance by forming a neighborhood watch.
Join Shareholder Leah K. Burton and Associate Paul Gaines of our San Antonio Office as they discuss neighborhood watch programs in property owners associations. They will take you through some of the do’s and don’ts about POA involvement in the program, what can go wrong and the potential liability a POA may face if it does.
*This course is approved by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB) to fulfill 1 hour of continuing education requirements for the CMCA certification. www.camicb.org
