Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions: Part II – Real Estate and Lending Issues

February 2 @ 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm

  • « Is It Time for a Document Tune-Up?
  • The Fair Housing Act and Emotional Support Animals »

Some of the most fundamental issues in a commercial real estate acquisition involve the purchase of the real estate at issue and obtaining debt financing used to fund the transaction.

Join RMWBH in Part II of our three-part webinar series on commercial real estate acquisitions. Building on the general discussion and hypothetical introduced in Part I, Equity Shareholder Himesh Gandhi will moderate a discussion featuring Shareholder Rahila Sultanali, who will speak on the real estate due-diligence process; negotiating, signing, and closing purchase and sale agreements; and common real estate issues that arise in commercial real estate acquisitions. They will be joined by Associate Matthew Steinfeld, who will discuss common issues encountered by sponsors and their affiliates and principals in obtaining debt financing, including issues relating to nonrecourse loans, SPE covenants, and personal guaranties and carveouts.
