Cliff Davis was born in Panama City, Florida, in 1962. Mr. Davis earned his law degree from the South Texas College of Law in 1994 after receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Houston. He has been admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of Texas and is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. Mr. Davis is Board certified in Residential Real Estate and Property Owners Association law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Davis was an Assistant City Attorney in the Revenue and Compliance Division of the City of Houston Legal Department for over two years. His work at the City of Houston concentrated on deed restriction enforcement.
Mr. Davis is a past board member of the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance (GHPA). Before becoming a board member of the GHPA, Mr. Davis was GHPA’s Membership Committee Chairman. In 2004, Mr. Davis was invited to speak at the City of Houston’s Neighborhood Conference on the subject of deed restriction enforcement and amending deed restrictions under the provisions of the Texas Property Code.
