Casson Wen is a Shareholder practicing in RMWBH’s Real Estate and Corporate sections.
In his real estate practice, Casson specializes in real estate development and real estate transactions. Casson has extensive experience working with developers, builders, investors, and private owners during the structuring, acquisition, development, risk management, marketing/sale, and administration phases of single-family, townhome, condominium, lifestyle/active adults, commercial, and mixed-use projects. His projects range in size from small to master-planned developments. In addition to assisting developers with their corporate structure and property acquisition issues, Casson routinely crafts governing documents and restrictive covenants for new and existing developments and advises developers and property owners associations during the startup and growth of their development and beyond, including redevelopment issues and other matters.
In his corporate practice, Casson acts as outside general counsel to individuals and businesses, handling a wide variety of business issues including entity formations, contract drafting, mergers and acquisitions, ownership interest transfers, corporate governance issues, trademark issues, and general corporate matters.
Casson takes pride in acting as a trusted counselor to his clients and is passionate about facilitating their business goals. He sets himself apart through his attention to detail and his ability to find creative solutions to suit his client’s needs. He enjoys building client relationships and mentoring young lawyers.
Casson graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts. He earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. While in law school, he served as President of the Student Bar Association and received both the Most Outstanding 3L Award and Distinguished Service Award.
