Brittan Johnson is an Associate for RMWBH in the Corporate and Real Estate Sections. His past experience as general counsel for a developer allows him to comprehend the multi-faceted issues that his clients face and better understand the business side of real estate deals. Brittan advises clients regarding acquisitions and divestitures of commercial real estate, equity interests, and assets; debt facilities, equity structures, and private offerings; private placement memorandum; and subscription agreements, company agreements, joint venture agreements, and participation agreements. He also drafts offering, corporate, and loan documents.
Brittan considers his knowledge of existing asset acquisitions and his understanding of the development process as an advantage when providing exceptional client service. Brittan navigates clients through multi-million-dollar property deals. His past experience as a solo practitioner focusing on residential and commercial real estate development provides a solid foundation from which he draws upon daily. Brittan thrives in an environment of collaboration and really enjoys working on large, complex transactions. Resourceful, his passion is “finding ways to get deals done” for his clients.
In 2010, Brittan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in government. He attended South Texas College of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2013.
